Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, while working part time jobs. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative direction she would take. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976 in the group called Dragons Playground. She quit the band prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. She was the lead singer for The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. It was released in the year 1992. The album was a massive success, both in terms of the sales as well as the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was launched in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The album is comprising four tracks that were that were improvised. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album along with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is a Scottish politician and singer. Following a modest success as a member of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to gain international recognition as the pop duo Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva produced many successful songs, including Why as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. The album features covers of songs like"No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her credits include the release of six studio albums on her own and one compilation.
