Shay Mitchell has been a Canadian actor, model and business owner for over ten years. The most famous character is Emily Fields, she is one of the stars on the Freeform television series Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo was the name that was given to a Jennifer Lopez Mitchell admirer by her friends. When she was a young girl she discovered a passion of performing arts. She talked with her parents about her dream of having a career. The acting abilities of her improved after she was a pro in modelling and dance. After securing a few commercials as well as guest roles on television series Mitchell got her big break when she was chosen to play the role of Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars. She was praised for both her acting and by fans. She then went on to be a star on the screen, through films such as Dreamland, Mother's Day and The Possession of Hannah Grace. Her name gained more attention due to her performance as an actor in a thriller about psychological issues in You. Shay Mitchell, in addition acting, has taken a leap into the world of writing. She wrote a novel for adults called Bliss along with Michaela Blaney.
